If you wanna talk about Shining Force specifically (ie the brand people recognise internationally, and the reason I brought up Feather) then the last one released with the SF remake for GBA, and it did about 35k in sales - hardly a huge success, but that's roughly in like with SF3 Scenario 2/3 sales, and about twice as many sales as Shining Soul 2 got. ![]() They're very Japanese games, they got much more promotion in Japan, they were always gonna sell better. Shinin' Blades was made by SteelRaven7 and Wronex for a 48 hour game jam. The last two released in NA (the PS2 games) did roughly 35k and 25k respectively, as opposed to the 150k or so they did each in Japan. Change your stance to block attacks, and retaliate with special dash attacks by charging up your super meter. If you're taking Shining games to mean any game with the Shining game, then yeah, they're much more popular in Japan. ![]()
